HOW TO FORCE FORMAT YOUR DRIVES (FLASH DRIVE, SD CARD, HARDIDSK, REWRITABLE DISKS ETC)

Hi friend welcome to my site, what toke you so long to locate these site? Alright that aside first let me ask you these question: have you ever tried formatting your flash drive, hard disk, or memory card using your computer and you receive a very annoying message that “unable to format drive” Gush it is usually annoying and frustration isn’t it? If the above scenario has ever happen to you and since then the drive has remained useless these post is for you, I guess that what brought you here, go pick up that storage device now because it will work again. Now back to the main business, you can format it using two methods either by using: Linux operating system (either UBUNTU, KUBUNTO, MANDRIVA etc) to do the normal formatting process or Using command prompt in windows operating system. This is one I will spend a little time to explain. First of all open your command prompt you can find that for windows 7 and higher version of windows just by typing command prompt on your start menu while for xp and lower version open your “run” button found on your start menu and type cmd and hit the enter key ok now I suppose your command prompt is open and your problematic drive is attached to your system. Follow the following steps:

-1- Type these command cd c:/

-2- Now you have just changed the directory to my computer

-3- Type format h:

Note: “h” is the label assign to your drive mine is h that was why I used h you to find yours by right clicking on your drive icon and select properties, a dialogue box will appear were you can see yours, you can also change it from there. Now I don’t have to tell you that you should change the above code from format h: to format __your drive label__

-4- Now press enter

-5- And wait for the process to complete. Within some minute all will be perfectly and correctly done. Can you see the power of command prompt?

Hope these helps comment are highly welcomed. Don’t forget to hit the share button to share on Facebook and other social networks
